City: Heyuan · Clinic type: Dental clinic · Service: Douyin group-buying operations
Background
This dental clinic in Heyuan had been active on Douyin in a scattered way: it had an account, group-buying offers and short videos, but the content and the offers did not work together. After watching a video, patients did not know what to buy or how to book, which naturally weakened conversion.
Starting point
The clinic wanted to turn content traffic into actual group-buying purchases within a 30-day cycle, so that Douyin became a patient acquisition channel it could measure rather than a publicity channel.
What we did
- Identified treatments suited to short-video presentation, and matched each content theme to a group-buying offer.
- Improved the group-buying details and the information in the comments, so patients could understand the service and the visit process straight after watching.
- Standardised the scripts for private messages and booking, reducing lost enquiries.
- Reviewed views, orders, redemptions and intended purchases on a 30-day cycle, iterating the content direction.
Results
- Redemptions passed RMB 34,000 in 30 days (+231%)
- RMB 48,000 in intended purchases (+197.86%)
- 153 vouchers redeemed
Redemptions and intended purchases grew together, showing the content did not just bring views but actually moved patients to decide.
Why it matters
For a dental clinic in a prefecture-level city, the key to Douyin group-buying is keeping "what the content says, what the offer sells and how visits are handled" consistent. This case shows the conversion efficiency once the three are aligned.
Data scope
Data comes from a stage dashboard in the Douyin group-buying back end. Percentages are like-for-like comparisons for this client, are affected by content performance, local demand and the clinic's follow-up capability, and are not a uniform promise of results.
