Background
Patients needing a crown usually take longer to decide than for teeth cleaning, comparing materials, prices and doctors' qualifications repeatedly. This clinic had little explanatory content about restorative treatments on Douyin, so patients found it hard to build trust from short content.
Starting point
The clinic wanted to present the Aidite all-ceramic crown as a clearly defined treatment, so patients needing restorations could understand the material's characteristics, what it is suitable for and the visit process.
What we did
- Organised content around all-ceramic crown restorations, explaining when the treatment applies and aftercare points.
- Kept the necessary reminders in the group-buying details, guiding patients to have an examination at the clinic before the plan is decided.
- Improved the scripts for handling enquiries, separating online booking from the in-clinic treatment decision.
- Shared redemption records with the clinic, so patients from online had a smooth handover when they arrived.
Results
- The Aidite all-ceramic crown offer was redeemed through Douyin group-buying
This real redemption record shows that patients are willing to book and pay online for a restorative treatment they clearly understand.
Why it matters
For restorative treatments on Douyin group-buying, the point is not to turn treatment into a "product" but to use content to make it easier to understand, and an in-clinic examination to keep within medical boundaries. This case shows the balance between the two.
Data scope
The redemption screenshot has been anonymised. Whether an all-ceramic crown is suitable must be decided by a dentist after a consultation and examination, and this case is not a promise of treatment outcome or material suitability.
