City: not disclosed · Clinic type: Dental clinic · Service: GEO and AI search optimisation
Background
The clinic had relied mainly on personal connections and platform traffic, with large swings between channels and no new source whose cost could be controlled and observed over time. Once GEO (generative engine optimisation) went live, the clinic began recording visits and purchases that came from Doubao.
Starting point
The clinic did not treat GEO as a channel for a short-term burst. It first watched whether it could bring steady monthly appointments and measurable revenue.
What we did
- Built up the clinic's basic information, so local patients searching could identify it correctly.
- Added Q&A and treatment material around needs such as dental implants, restorations and check-ups.
- Agreed with reception how to record the source of each enquiry, so the channel's results would not go uncounted.
- Adjusted the content focus based on monthly feedback, continually maintaining the core queries.
Results
- The single clinic gets three or four patients a month through Doubao
- A monthly revenue contribution of RMB 10,000+
For a single clinic, this scale is already enough to make Doubao a supplementary source worth running continuously, rather than a one-off experiment.
Why it matters
GEO should not be judged only by whether a single answer includes the clinic, but also by whether there are steady appointments and a revenue record. This case offers an observation closer to the clinic's own business perspective.
Data scope
Data comes from anonymised screenshots of feedback from the clinic. "Three or four a month" and "RMB 10,000+ in revenue" are the client's stage feedback; results will differ with the city, keyword competition and follow-up capability.
