01 | A decision others in the trade could not understand
In February 2026, Ms G, head of a two-store dental clinic in Tianjin, made a decision that looked "not worth it" to outsiders: when the contract for her first store expired, she ended the arrangement with her previous operations agency. That agency was cheaper and also handled customer service; Sanqi Internet's operations fee was about half as much again.
Someone asked her whether she had got her sums wrong. Her answer was simple: no, I know exactly what I am doing.
02 | How did she find Sanqi Internet?
Many dental clinics in Ms G's city are run by Sanqi Internet. Over a long period she noticed something: her competitors' store data, review activity, handling of group-buying offers and platform rankings were consistently steadier than those of her two stores.
She admits her previous agency was not entirely bad, but it simply did not do as well as the clinics Sanqi Internet served locally. So she started asking around, and eventually found us through a platform business development (BD) contact.
03 | The first contract: testing with one store
When the first store's contract expired in February, Ms G did not move both stores straight away; she tested with one first. This was both caution and a test.
During the engagement there were responses, actions and data in the group chat every day; the store page, group-buying offers, reviews, advertising and reviews of results all moved forward continuously. She did not say much, but the back-end data and the frequency of communication showed one thing: she was watching all along, and comparing all along.
04 | The second contract: no hesitation
In May the second store's contract expired. This time she did not hesitate: she ended the previous arrangement and signed both stores to annual contracts.
This meant higher operations costs and giving up the previous agency's low-price package that included customer service. But she was clear: what a dental clinic ultimately buys is not cheapness, but effective action, reliable delivery and growth in results.
05 | A very down-to-earth remark
After signing, Ms G said in the group chat: "Let's work together to build solid operating foundations in the business district."
Her goals were clear: to grow the clinics' business and improve the quality of enquiries. So was her budget: RMB 1,000 a day, adjusted continuously according to return on spend. She is not an impulsive client; having done the sums, she preferred to pay for reliable operations capability.
06 | What does this case tell us?
When a client replaces an agency, it is not necessarily because that agency did badly, but because she has seen a better possibility.
If in the same city you keep doing better for her competitors than she is doing, she will come to you, even if you are more expensive and even if you do not include customer service. Truly smart clients never simply buy "cheap"; they buy results, expertise and long-term certainty.
